MOVIES ON THE RADIO: BOND-A-THON PART 1 .... SHOW MOVES TO WEDNESDAY!

Sorry haven't been posting daily on the old BSFS site as of late.....been a very busy year. Just wanted to let everyone know the BSFS radio show Movies on the Radio will be moving to every other Wednesday from 7-9 pm starting this Wednesday, January 18. We will kick off at our new time with the JAMES BOND-A-THON PART 1; where you will hear music from the first three films in the series: Dr.No, From Russia with Love, and Goldfinger. Movies on the Radio will be heard every other Wednesday until May, we moved it a day or there weren't going to be any shows for awhile due to basketball.

Movies on the Radio the official radio show of the Big Spring Film Society has a new schedule that we just started this month...Movies on the Radio can be heard on the second and last Tuesday of every month on Kbyg 106.3 FM 1400 AM or if you don't have a radio in your house (which were starting to learn a lot of people don't) you can stream the show from ww

The Crossroads area will be the place to be this summer, as the Big Spring Film Society announces its summer line-up, including WestFest, a two-day event combining movies and music that's sure to be a hit with the whole family.

The season will kick off May 19 as the Big Spring Film Society's Movies on the Radio – presented by KBYG Radio 106.3 FM – will be broadcasting live from the Movies 4 in the Big Spring Mall for the midnight sneak preview of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.” Tune in from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. or listen online at www.kbygradio.com

FILM SOCIETY MEETS JANUARY 24TH 7PM HALL CENTER FOR THE ARTS @HC

The Big Spring Film Society will be meeting Monday, January 24th @ 7pm in the Hall Center for the Arts on the campus of Howard College. We will be discussing the years events that include: a screening of the WW2 action film, "Memphis Belle" at the historic Hangar 25 museum; the possibility of a two day outdoor film festival where we will screen "Back to the Future", and "Ghostbusters"; and our screening of "The Dark Crystal" on top of Scenic Mountain. If you are interested in the film society please attend this meeting!
